ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on understanding Clostridioides difficile infections (CDI), which can cause serious digestive problems ranging from mild diarrhea to severe complications. The researchers aim to learn more about how the infection progresses and what factors might help the body clear the bacteria more effectively. This knowledge could lead to better treatments and prevention strategies, especially since CDI often comes back after treatment, affecting patients' quality of life.

To participate in this study, you need to be over 18 years old and hospitalized with a confirmed CDI or a recurrence of the infection. You should be able to speak French and agree to join the study. If you take part, you’ll be monitored over time to see how your body responds to the infection and treatments. This could help doctors find ways to reduce the chances of CDI coming back and improve care for patients in the future.
