ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on developing and testing new technology that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to measure physical activity in patients who have had a stroke. The researchers want to create smart algorithms that can accurately detect how a person is moving or resting by using small sensors placed on their body. They will test these sensors in different positions to see which works best for understanding movements like walking or standing.
To participate in this study, you need to be a hospital patient who has recently had a stroke and can give your consent to join. If you agree, you will wear four sensors while a member of the research team and a physiotherapist guide you through some movements, like walking for a short time and changing positions. The study aims to recruit between 34 and 50 people, and it's a great opportunity to help improve how we measure recovery after a stroke.
