ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on improving how students learn to care for people with dementia. The goal is to develop a new educational program that helps students gain the necessary skills and knowledge to manage dementia care effectively. By using a method called competency-based education, the study aims to create a curriculum that not only teaches students but also assesses how well they are doing in their learning. This is important because as our society changes, we need professionals who are well-prepared to meet the needs of individuals with dementia.
To participate in this study, candidates must be at least 20 years old and be first-year students in the Gerontology and Health Care Management program who have already completed basic courses in geriatric nursing. Interested students should be willing to participate voluntarily. Those who are currently not enrolled in school are not eligible. Participants can expect to take part in a program designed to enhance their skills in dementia care, which could better prepare them for future work in this important field.
