ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how often patients should visit the orthodontist for their braces to achieve the best results in teeth alignment. Specifically, it compares two different appointment schedules: one where patients come in every 3 weeks and another where they come in every 6 weeks. The goal is to see which schedule helps with better alignment of teeth for those with moderate to severe crowding, meaning their teeth are too close together.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 16 and 30 years old with a specific measure of teeth crowding, known as Little's irregularity index, that falls between 5mm and 12mm. You also need to have healthy gums and no serious health issues. If you join the trial, you can expect regular check-ups and monitoring of your teeth movement over time. This study is currently looking for volunteers, and it aims to provide clearer answers about the best timing for orthodontic appointments to help improve your smile.
