ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a technique called neurofeedback, which uses real-time brain imaging to help people manage their emotions, specifically anxiety and feelings of arousal. Researchers are focusing on a specific area of the brain that helps control these emotions. By training this part of the brain, they hope to improve emotional regulation in healthy adults.
To participate, individuals need to be over 18 years old and should not have any current or past psychiatric or neurological disorders. Unfortunately, pregnant individuals, those taking certain medications, and people with conditions that would make an MRI unsafe are not eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to undergo brain scans while learning to control your brain activity through neurofeedback. This exciting study is currently looking for participants of all genders and is a great opportunity to contribute to research on emotional health.
