ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new treatment called Mediclore, which is used to prevent scar tissue from forming after spine surgery. The main goal is to see if Mediclore helps patients feel better and recover more effectively after endoscopic lumbar discectomy, a surgery for herniated discs in the lower back. Researchers will compare the results of patients who receive Mediclore to those who receive a standard saline solution after their surgery. They want to find out if those treated with Mediclore report better recovery outcomes without having more complications.
To participate in this trial, you should be an adult with a herniated lumbar disc that hasn't improved after at least six months of conservative treatment like physical therapy or medication. However, if you've had previous spine surgery, certain infections or cancers, or if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, you won't be eligible to join. If you do participate, you'll receive either Mediclore or saline after your surgery and will help researchers learn more about the safety and effectiveness of this new treatment.
