ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how different levels of exercise affect brain health, blood pressure, and blood vessel health in people with high blood pressure (hypertension) and who are overweight or have obesity. Over a period of 10 weeks, participants will engage in either moderate or intensive exercise to see which has a better effect on their overall brain health and helps lower blood pressure.
To be eligible for this study, you need to be between 35 and 65 years old, have a diagnosis of hypertension, and have a body mass index (BMI) of 25 or higher. You will also need access to a smartphone to use special apps that track your workouts. If you decide to participate, you will undergo a fitness evaluation to ensure you can safely engage in the exercise program. This study is currently looking for participants, so if you meet the criteria and are interested in improving your health, this could be a great opportunity!
