ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, named "Evaluation of the Medical Service by Socio-aesthetics in Oncology," is studying how a specific type of care, called socio-aesthetics well-being care, can help improve the quality of life for people undergoing treatment for different kinds of cancer, including lung, breast, colon, and prostate cancers. The goal is to see if this type of care can make patients feel better during their treatment compared to just using skincare products on their own. Researchers will also look at whether this care helps to reduce feelings of anxiety and pain.

To be eligible for this study, participants need to be over 18 years old and currently receiving chemotherapy for one of the mentioned cancers. They should be able to read and write in French and be part of a social security program. It’s important that participants can commit to the study for its duration and have signed an informed consent form. The trial is not yet recruiting, but once it starts, participants can expect to receive special care focused on their well-being, along with regular check-ins about their health and feelings during treatment.
