ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on helping Hispanic parents feel more comfortable about getting their children vaccinated against COVID-19. The research team has noticed that Hispanic children are getting vaccinated at lower rates than their White peers, and they want to change that. They plan to use stories and personal experiences from the community to address concerns and encourage parents to vaccinate their children, making these powerful vaccines more accessible to families.
To participate in this study, parents or guardians must identify as Hispanic and have at least one child under 18 who has not received their COVID-19 vaccine or is not up-to-date with their vaccinations. Participants will need to be willing to send and receive text messages and share a photo of their child’s immunization record. The trial is currently looking for participants, and it offers an opportunity to learn more about vaccines while helping to improve vaccination rates in the community.
