ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, called the GLOBE study, is looking at the effectiveness and safety of a special growth hormone treatment called PEGylated recombinant human growth hormone (PEG-rhGH) for children in China who are shorter than average. The trial aims to gather information on how well this treatment works for children with different growth issues, such as growth hormone deficiency, Turner Syndrome, and those who were born smaller than usual. By studying these factors, the researchers hope to better understand how to help these children grow taller over time.

If your child is between the ages of 5 and 16 and has one of the eligible conditions, they might qualify to participate in this trial. However, children with serious health issues, like heart or lung problems, or those with certain types of cancer or infections cannot join. Participants will receive PEG-rhGH injections and will be monitored for their safety and growth progress. This study is currently recruiting participants, so it's a good opportunity to learn more about a treatment that could help your child.
