ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how a special nutritional supplement, called immunonutrition, can help women with gynecological cancer who are having surgery. The main goal is to see if this supplement can improve their nutrition and recovery after surgery compared to women who do not receive it. Participants in the study will receive the immunonutrition supplement both before and after their surgery. Researchers will then compare the recovery and health outcomes of those who took the supplement with those who followed standard care.

To be eligible for this trial, participants must be women diagnosed with gynecological cancer who are scheduled for elective surgery. However, those with certain complications, like issues with their digestive system or advanced cancer that has spread, cannot participate. Additionally, individuals with allergies to milk, soy, or whey protein, as well as those involved in other clinical studies, are excluded. This trial is not yet recruiting, but it aims to gather important information that could help improve recovery for patients undergoing surgery for gynecological cancer.
