ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Implementation of Therapy Together," is looking at a special therapy program designed to help young children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy, which affects one side of the body. The main goal is to see if the Therapy Together program can improve how well these children use their hands and perform daily activities compared to the usual care they receive. Over the course of 8 weeks, some children will participate in the Therapy Together program, while others will continue with their regular treatments. Researchers will then compare the progress of both groups to find out if the new program is more effective.
To be part of this study, children need to be between 3 months and 2 years old, have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy or are at risk for it, and show some difficulties using one of their arms. They should also be able to pay attention to toys and try to reach for them. However, children with uncontrolled seizures, serious vision problems, or severe behavioral issues won't be able to join. Families interested in this trial should know that it is currently recruiting participants and aims to gather valuable information that could help improve therapy for children with cerebral palsy in the future.
