ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how certain blood markers are related to diabetic peripheral neuropathy, a condition that affects the nerves in people with diabetes, leading to symptoms like pain, tingling, or numbness, usually in the feet and hands. The study is currently recruiting participants of all genders and ages, as long as they have already undergone a specific test called electromyography (EMG), which checks how well the nerves are working.
To be eligible for this study, participants should not be pregnant or breastfeeding, and they should not have serious health conditions like chronic liver or kidney disease, heart failure, or cancer, among others. If someone decides to participate, they will help researchers understand the connection between the blood markers and nerve damage in diabetes, which could lead to better treatments in the future. It's a great opportunity to contribute to important research while being closely monitored for health throughout the study.
