ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new type of cancer treatment called MRI-guided radiotherapy, specifically using a machine that combines an MRI scanner with a linear accelerator called Unity. This advanced technology allows doctors to target tumors more accurately and adjust the treatment based on how the tumor and surrounding healthy tissue respond each day. The researchers aim to develop ways to personalize the amount of radiation given during treatment by measuring how sensitive the tumor is to radiation using special MRI scans. They will also be working on creating artificial intelligence tools to help analyze these scans and create 3D maps that show how the tumor's sensitivity changes over time.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with prostate, kidney, cervical, head and neck cancer, or glioblastoma. They should also be scheduled to receive external radiotherapy with the Unity MRI machine at the hospital in Lyon. Participants will need to lie still during the procedure, and pregnant or breastfeeding women are not eligible. This trial is actively recruiting participants, and it offers a promising opportunity to help improve cancer treatment by tailoring radiation therapy to each patient's needs.
