ClinConnect Summary
The Xiaxi Program for Back Health is a clinical trial studying a specific exercise program aimed at improving spinal health in adults. Many adults experience changes in their spinal curvature as they age, which can affect their overall health. This trial is testing a unique training program using a method called Xiaxi, which focuses on both physical movement and mental awareness. The goal is to see if participating in this program for 12 weeks can help improve spinal posture and flexibility in the hamstring muscles.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be between 20 and 60 years old and should not have any major spinal issues, past surgeries on the spine or hamstring, or be involved in other structured exercise programs during the trial. The study will include two groups that will participate in the Xiaxi program either once or twice a week, while a control group will only attend initial and follow-up measurements without participating in the exercises. This research aims to gather valuable information about how different training frequencies might affect back health, which could lead to better solutions for those experiencing spinal issues.
