ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial aims to improve the health and wellbeing of NHS staff by providing personalized recommendations based on their genetic and lifestyle information. With the increasing pressures on healthcare workers, this study will explore how effective these tailored insights can be in reducing stress and promoting overall wellbeing. NHS employees from various trusts, including Bradford Teaching Hospital and Sandwell and West Birmingham, will be invited to participate.
Eligible participants include healthcare staff, both clinical and administrative, who can read English. After agreeing to join, they will fill out an online questionnaire about their health interests and complete a DNA saliva test at no cost. Within a few weeks, they will receive their genetic results and have two weeks to explore their personalized health information. After this period, participants will complete another questionnaire to see if their wellbeing has improved and may be invited for a brief interview to share their experiences. A follow-up will occur three months later to determine if the benefits continue over time.
