ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how trunk control affects balance and body awareness in stroke patients. Trunk control is the ability to maintain a stable and upright posture, which is crucial for everyday activities and safety. The researchers want to understand how different levels of trunk involvement in stroke patients relate to their balance and spasticity (muscle stiffness). They will include 98 patients who have experienced their first stroke and are between 35 to 65 years old, as long as they can understand the study and are stable health-wise.
Participants in the trial can expect to undergo several tests to assess their trunk control, balance, and overall quality of life. These assessments will help the researchers determine the relationship between trunk control, balance issues, and spasticity in stroke patients. The study aims to gather important information that can help improve rehabilitation strategies for stroke survivors. If you or someone you know fits the eligibility criteria and is interested in participating, it could contribute valuable insights to understanding stroke recovery.
