ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how a special treatment called Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) can help improve the healing of bone around dental implants. Researchers want to see if using PRF alone or with a bone substitute can increase the amount of bone tissue around the implant, which is important for the implant's success. They will also look at how the levels of platelets and white blood cells in the PRF affect bone healing.
To participate in this study, you need to be a non-smoker and have no medical conditions that could interfere with bone healing. It’s also important that you haven't taken certain medications that could affect your bone health. If you have an area in your mouth that is missing teeth and requires a dental implant, you might be eligible. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to important research that could lead to better dental implant procedures in the future. The trial is not currently recruiting participants, but it's an exciting step towards improving dental care.
