ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is designed to study how certain drug resistance mutations in HIV might affect the immune system's ability to recover in people living with HIV. Researchers want to understand why some patients have difficulty rebuilding their immune systems, specifically looking at whether these mutations could play a role. The goal is to identify patients who may need closer monitoring and support to prevent progression to AIDS.

To participate in this trial, individuals must be at least 18 years old, have a confirmed HIV-1 infection, and have never received HIV treatment before. They also need to show that their virus levels are under control after starting treatment for six months and have their HIV genetic test results available. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but if you meet these criteria and are interested, it could be an opportunity to contribute to important research that may help improve care for others living with HIV.
