ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new system designed to monitor sleep quality without needing to make physical contact with individuals who have Alzheimer's Disease or related dementias. The goal is to see if having access to real-time sleep data helps healthcare providers better identify sleep problems and improve treatment, ultimately enhancing sleep quality and reducing daytime inactivity for those living in long-term care facilities.
To be eligible for this study, participants must have a diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease or related dementias and have been living in a long-term care facility for at least 30 days. They or their legal representatives will need to agree to participate in the study. During the trial, participants will be monitored for their sleep quality over four weeks, with caregivers receiving data about sleep patterns after the first two weeks. This information may help them provide more effective care and support. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to create better outcomes for individuals facing sleep disturbances related to Alzheimer's Disease.
