ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding the different factors that can influence how prostate cancer progresses in patients. Researchers want to learn about clinical aspects (like health history), genetic factors (how a person’s genes may affect their cancer), and environmental influences (like where someone lives) that can impact the disease's course and treatment options. By identifying these factors, the research aims to improve treatment decisions and develop better prevention strategies, especially for those at higher risk of developing prostate cancer.
To participate in this study, men aged 65 to 74 who have recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer and are receiving care at the University Hospital of Guadeloupe or the University Hospital of Rennes may be eligible. Participants will need to provide consent and have health coverage. However, those with certain physical or mental health issues that might interfere with participation, or individuals under legal protection, cannot join. If you decide to take part, you can expect to contribute to important research that could help improve outcomes for future prostate cancer patients.
