ClinConnect Summary
The "Game Changers for Family Planning Peer Advocacy Program" is a clinical trial designed to help women who have been using contraception, like birth control, support other women in their communities who need help with family planning. The goal is to see if training these women to advocate for contraception can effectively encourage others to use it and meet their family planning needs. This study is still in the early stages, and they are not yet recruiting participants.
To be eligible for this study, women participating as "index participants" must have been using contraception for at least a year. Women in their social circles, known as "network members," can join if they are not currently using contraception but are trying to prevent pregnancy and know about the contraception use of the index participant. If you join the study, you can expect to participate in training sessions and activities that aim to empower you to help others in your community. This trial is an important step in understanding how peer support can improve access to contraception for women who need it.
