ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a specific way to manage pain during surgery for people who need an operation to fix a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the knee. It will compare the effectiveness of a technique called a femoral nerve block, which helps numb the leg, when used alongside spinal anesthesia. The goal is to see how well this approach works in improving pain relief during and after the surgery.
To be part of this study, participants must be scheduled for ACL reconstruction surgery and be able to understand and agree to join the research. However, people who need additional surgeries for other knee injuries or who have had previous surgeries in the same area won’t be included. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but once it starts, those who qualify can expect to receive detailed information and support throughout the process. This research aims to enhance pain management techniques for better recovery experiences for patients.
