ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different surgical methods—laparoscopic surgery and robotic-assisted surgery—used to treat patients with various adrenal diseases, like adrenal tumors or conditions that affect the adrenal glands. The main goals of the trial are to see if one surgical technique is better than the other and to understand how these surgeries affect patients' quality of life before and after the procedure.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must have a medical need for adrenal surgery confirmed by tests and be willing to give written consent to join the study. However, individuals who need surgery on both adrenal glands at the same time, have very large adrenal tumors, or have signs of cancer that might be spreading cannot participate. Those who join the trial can expect to be monitored closely during their treatment and recovery to help researchers gather valuable information about the outcomes of each surgical method.
