ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying repetitive behaviors, such as compulsions seen in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and tics found in Gilles de la Tourette Syndrome (GTS). The goal is to find scientific ways to tell the difference between these behaviors, which is important for choosing the right treatment. Researchers will collect data from patients using special equipment in a lab and at home to understand how these behaviors happen and how they can be measured.
To participate, you need to be between 15 and 65 years old and have a diagnosis of OCD or GTS. The study is currently looking for patients who can provide written consent and are willing to wear a smartwatch that tracks their symptoms. By joining this study, you will help scientists learn more about these conditions, which may lead to better treatments in the future. It's important to know that patients with other psychiatric or neurological disorders, pregnant women, and those who cannot have an MRI are not eligible to participate.
