ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a specific scoring system, called the PBS-score, relates to the treatment recommendations made by experienced pediatric orthopedic surgeons for children with clubfoot. Clubfoot is a condition that affects the foot's position, making it look twisted or turned inward. The goal of the trial is to see if the PBS-score can help doctors recommend the best treatment options based on each child's unique situation.
To participate in this trial, children aged between 1 and 5 years who have been diagnosed with idiopathic clubfoot (the most common type that isn’t caused by another condition) may be eligible. Participants should be able to walk a short distance of 10 meters and communicate in one of several languages, including Swedish, English, Portuguese, Urdu, or Pashto. If they choose to join, families can expect to provide information about their child’s health and take part in assessments that help determine the best course of treatment. This trial is currently looking for participants, and it aims to improve treatment strategies for children with clubfoot.
