ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to understand how a special tool called the Hypotension Prediction Index (HPI) can help prevent kidney problems after robotic surgery for conditions like prostate and renal cancer. The main goal is to see if using the HPI during surgery can lower the chances of developing acute kidney injury (AKI) by keeping blood pressure stable throughout the procedure.
To participate, you need to be at least 19 years old and scheduled for robot-assisted urological surgery. However, if you cannot give consent yourself or have certain medical conditions affecting your arms, you might not be eligible. If you join the study, you will receive care as usual during your surgery, with additional monitoring using the HPI to see how it impacts your recovery, specifically your kidney health. This trial is currently seeking volunteers, and your participation could help improve care for future patients undergoing similar surgeries.
