ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how effective a treatment called pressure release is for helping people with neck pain caused by myofascial trigger points. Myofascial trigger points are sensitive areas in muscles that can cause pain. In this study, participants will be randomly divided into two groups: one group will receive the pressure release treatment, while the other will follow a control treatment. Both groups will also do exercises and learn about proper posture to help with their neck pain.
To join the trial, participants should be between 18 and 55 years old and have experienced neck pain at least once in the last month, with trigger points in specific neck muscles. However, individuals with recent neck injuries, certain medical conditions, or who are pregnant are not eligible. If you participate, you can expect to engage in exercises and receive treatment to see if it helps reduce your neck pain. This study is currently recruiting participants, so it’s a great opportunity to contribute to research that may help others with similar pain issues in the future!
