ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how conditions like Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) and primary dysmenorrhea (painful menstrual cramps) may affect the severity of temporomandibular disorders (TMD), which are issues related to the jaw and facial muscles. The goal is to understand if people who experience PMS or painful periods also face more significant problems with their jaw health. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it plans to include individuals aged between 18 and 45 who are willing to volunteer.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must not have any other gynecological conditions besides PMS or primary dysmenorrhea, must not be pregnant, and should not have any neurological, psychiatric, or cognitive disorders. If you decide to participate, you can expect to contribute to important research that could help others dealing with these painful conditions. This study will help us learn more about how these health issues might be connected, potentially leading to better treatment options in the future.
