ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special treatment called pulsed negative pressure can help improve the elasticity and overall condition of cesarean scars. The goal is to see if this treatment can stimulate the body’s natural healing response, making the scar tissue more flexible and less thick. The changes in the scars will be measured using a type of ultrasound called elastography, which helps to assess the elasticity of the tissue.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be women aged 18 to 60 who have had a cesarean section and have a scar that is at least six months old but less than two years old. They should also have a scar that looks thick and may be causing some restrictions in the surrounding tissue. However, certain conditions may exclude individuals from participating, such as neurological issues or specific skin conditions like keloids. If you join the trial, you can expect to undergo treatment and follow-up assessments to evaluate how your scar is responding to the therapy.
