ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Enabling Remote Access to Breathe Easier," is looking at a new program called "Breathe Easier" that aims to help lung cancer survivors manage their symptoms better. The study will focus on how well this program, which includes mindfulness exercises and gentle movements delivered through a smartphone app, can help reduce feelings of breathlessness (dyspnea), tiredness (fatigue), and improve overall quality of life. Participants will be divided into two groups—one will use the app for eight weeks, while the other group will not receive any intervention. Researchers will then compare the experiences of both groups to see if the app made a difference.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be White or African-American survivors of non-small cell lung cancer (stages I-III), have access to a smartphone and the internet, and be willing to engage with the app and practice daily meditation and gentle exercises. It's important to note that the trial is not currently recruiting participants, but if you fit the criteria, it could be a valuable opportunity to explore new ways to improve your wellbeing after lung cancer treatment.
