ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how common pain is among patients with cirrhosis, a serious liver condition, who are hospitalized. Cirrhosis can cause a range of uncomfortable symptoms, including tiredness, nausea, and abdominal pain, and it's important to understand how much pain these patients experience to improve their care. The study is taking place at the Center Hospitalier de la Dracénie in Draguignan, France, and aims to gather information about pain in hospitalized cirrhotic patients, as there has been little research on this topic in France.

To participate in the trial, individuals must be at least 18 years old, be hospitalized with a diagnosis of cirrhosis, and understand and speak French. If eligible, patients can expect a single consultation lasting between 15 and 45 minutes, where they will be asked questions about their pain. It's also important to know that participation is voluntary, and patients have the right to refuse or withdraw from the study at any time. This research could help improve the understanding and management of pain in cirrhotic patients, ultimately leading to better care for them.
