ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special tool called a Mixed Reality Viewer can help patients better understand their surgery for fractures in the wrist, ankle, or shoulder. The goal is to see if using this advanced technology makes patients feel more satisfied with their care and less anxious before their surgery compared to traditional methods like X-rays or CT scans.
To participate, you need to be at least 18 years old and have a fracture that requires surgery using a specific technique. If you join the study, you'll get to see your fracture using the Mixed Reality Viewer, which offers a more interactive view, and researchers will ask you questions about your understanding and feelings regarding the process. The study is currently looking for participants, and it's important to note that some people, such as those with severe visual impairments or certain medical conditions, may not be eligible.
