ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new technique for treating hip pain caused by a condition known as ilio-psoas conflict, which can occur after hip replacement surgery. The researchers are exploring the use of ultrasound to assist in a procedure called psoas tenotomy, which involves cutting the tendon to relieve pain. The goal is to see if this ultrasound-guided method is safe and effective, while also making the surgery less invasive and easier to perform compared to traditional methods.

To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with hip pain related to ilio-psoas conflict after having a total hip replacement. You will need to provide written consent and be covered by a French health insurance plan. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, allergic to local anesthetics, or taking certain medications, you may not be eligible. Participants can expect to undergo the ultrasound-assisted procedure and will be monitored for pain relief and improvements in hip function afterward. This trial aims to provide valuable information about a potentially innovative way to help patients suffering from this type of hip pain.
