ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the effects of two different treatments—massage therapy and a technique called tissue flossing—on children with spastic diplegia cerebral palsy. The goal is to see which method helps improve movement and flexibility in these children. The study will involve 56 participants, aged 12 to 15 years, who have been diagnosed with this condition and have certain levels of muscle tone and mobility.

If your child is eligible, they will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment groups for a period of six weeks. Before and after the study, the researchers will measure their muscle movement and mobility using specific tools. This is a great opportunity for children who meet the criteria to potentially benefit from new therapeutic approaches while also contributing to important research in this area. It’s important to note that children with certain medical histories, like recent fractures or surgeries, will not be able to participate.
