ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well two treatments—Tranexamic Acid and Estrogen—can help women who experience abnormal uterine bleeding after receiving a birth control injection called Depo-medroxyprogesterone acetate (DMPA). Abnormal bleeding is a common reason why women stop using DMPA, and this study aims to find out which treatment works better to stop that bleeding.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be women aged 18 to 45 who have been experiencing abnormal bleeding for more than 7 days after their first DMPA injection. It's important that they can understand Thai and give their consent to participate. However, women with certain health conditions, such as high blood pressure or a history of blood clots, cannot join the study. If eligible, participants will receive one of the treatments and will be closely monitored to see how well it helps with their bleeding. This research hopes to improve care for women facing this issue.
