ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help people who have had a stroke become more active again. The study will test a program that combines support through phone calls and in-person meetings, along with the use of a smartwatch to track daily activity. The goal is to see if this approach can help increase physical activity levels after a stroke and to gather information that will help plan future studies.
To participate, you need to be at least 18 years old and have had a stroke for more than six months. You should also be considered "inactive," meaning you don’t currently get much exercise and have medical approval to start being more active. During the 12-week program, you'll be randomly assigned to either the group that gets the smartwatch or a comparison group that doesn't. Throughout the study, a trained researcher will collect information to see how well the program works and whether it can be used in larger studies in the future. If you are interested or think you might qualify, this could be a great opportunity to improve your health post-stroke!
