ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at whether an online training and support platform can help adults living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) manage their condition better. The study will have two groups: one group will receive access to the platform through their regular medical care at clinics in Quebec, while the other group will access it on their own from anywhere in Canada. Over the course of 12 months, participants will complete online questionnaires and share their glucose data with the research team to see how well the platform works for managing diabetes.
To participate, you need to have a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes, including a specific type called LADA, and you must live in Canada. Additionally, you should have internet access, an active email address, and be able to understand either English or French. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but if you join, you'll be involved in helping researchers understand how to improve diabetes care through technology. There will also be opportunities for some participants and healthcare professionals to share their experiences in interviews to help improve the program.
