ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at an exercise program designed for children with unilateral cerebral palsy, which means they have movement challenges on one side of their body. The main focus of the study is to see if this program can help reduce the ways these children compensate for their movement difficulties, lessen any pain they might have, and improve their ability to use both hands together. The program will last for 8 weeks, and children will perform the exercises at home.
To participate, children need to be diagnosed with unilateral cerebral palsy and fall into specific levels of ability according to a scale used by doctors. However, there are some exclusions; for instance, children who have had certain treatments in the last six months or have serious attention issues that make it hard to follow instructions cannot join. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but it will include children aged between 2 and 8 years old, and both boys and girls are welcome to take part.
