ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), which is the joint that connects your jaw to your skull, moves normally and when there are problems. Researchers will use a special type of MRI called Real Time MRI Rapid Flash to see these movements clearly. This could help doctors understand better how TMJ disorders affect people and improve treatment options.
To participate in the study, you need to be an adult, at least 18 years old, and able to understand the instructions given. You should also be covered by a health insurance plan. However, people with certain dental issues, severe anxiety about being in small spaces (claustrophobia), or those who cannot have an MRI for medical reasons cannot join. If you take part, you will undergo imaging to help researchers learn more about the TMJ. Remember, this trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information available once it starts.
