ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two different ways for children aged 6 to 12 years to keep track of their bladder habits: a paper diary and an automated digital diary using a smartphone or tablet. The goal is to see how well these two methods agree with each other, how easy they are for kids to use, and which one they prefer. Kids who are visiting the clinic for bladder issues will take part in the study. They will be randomly assigned to use one diary first and then switch to the other, keeping each diary for at least two days. After each diary, they will fill out a short online survey to share their thoughts on how easy it was to use and which one they liked better.
To be eligible for this trial, children need to be between 6 and 12 years old, and their parents must have a smartphone or tablet that they can use. Unfortunately, kids who are changing their bladder treatment during the study or have difficulty using the diary will not be able to participate. In addition to the surveys, some families will also participate in interviews to discuss their experiences in more detail. This study aims to improve how we help children manage bladder issues by understanding which method works best for them.
