ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different types of care can help families dealing with Intimate Partner Violence (IPV). Specifically, it compares Family-Centered Care (FCC) to Child-Centered Care (CCC) and aims to see which approach better supports caregivers in accessing community services, helps them feel empowered, and improves the outcomes for their young children who have been exposed to IPV.
To participate, caregivers must have a child under 3 years old who has been reported to Child Protective Services for exposure to IPV. Caregivers should be over 18 years old, agree to have their child evaluated at a child advocacy center, and should not already be connected with an IPV advocate. Participants will be asked to communicate in English or Spanish. The study is currently recruiting, so if you think you or someone you know might be eligible, this could be an important opportunity to receive support and help improve the future for both caregivers and their children.
