ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how two different treatments—Platelet-rich Fibrin (PRF) injections and Vitamin D injections—can help speed up the movement of canine teeth in patients who need orthodontic treatment. Specifically, the researchers want to see if these treatments affect the rate at which the teeth move and if they have any impact on the thickness of the surrounding bone.

To be eligible for this study, participants should be between 18 and 40 years old and have a specific type of dental misalignment that requires the removal of certain teeth and movement of the canine teeth. They should also have good to fair oral hygiene and no active gum disease. If you join this study, you can expect to receive one of the two treatments and have regular check-ups to monitor how well the treatments are working. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it’s important to note that those with certain health conditions or poor oral hygiene may not qualify.
