ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at patients who have experienced venous thromboembolism (VTE), which is a condition where blood clots form in the veins and can be dangerous. The study aims to find out which patients might benefit from long-term treatment with blood thinners (medications that help prevent new clots) and to understand more about how VTE develops and what happens to patients over time.
To participate, you need to be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with venous thromboembolism. Unfortunately, if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have an active cancer, you won’t be eligible for this study. If you join, you can expect to receive regular check-ins for several years through phone calls or visits to a hospital or clinic, where researchers will monitor your health and gather important information about your experience with VTE. This study is currently recruiting participants of all genders, and your involvement could help improve future treatments for patients with this condition.
