ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is designed to understand how certain blood cell ratios, specifically the Neutrophil-Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) and the Platelet-Lymphocyte Ratio (PLR), relate to complications in blood vessels and blood sugar control in patients with Type 2 Diabetes. Researchers want to see if these ratios can help predict health issues that people with diabetes may face, particularly those affecting their blood vessels.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have Type 2 diabetes. You could be eligible if your blood sugar levels are well-controlled (with an HbA1c of less than 7) or poorly controlled (with an HbA1c of 7 or higher). However, individuals with Type 1 diabetes or certain health conditions, such as liver disease or those taking specific medications like blood thinners or steroids, won't be able to participate. If you join the study, you'll help researchers gather important information, which could lead to better care and treatment for people with diabetes in the future.
