Motor Sparing Scbp Block Upper Limb Operations

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is investigating two different methods of providing regional anesthesia for patients undergoing surgeries on their upper limbs. The goal is to see how well these methods work in terms of pain relief after surgery, how soon patients need more pain medication, and whether there are any side effects, especially in terms of movement. The two methods being compared are the Motor Sparing Supraclavicular Block and the regular Supraclavicular Brachial Plexus Block.

To participate in this study, patients should be between 18 and 60 years old and scheduled for upper limb surgery. They should be in good general health, without serious bleeding disorders, infections, or severe heart or lung problems. Participants can expect to receive one of the two types of anesthesia and will be monitored for pain levels and any side effects after their surgery. This study is currently recruiting participants, and everyone involved hopes to learn more about how to improve pain management after surgery while preserving movement.
