ClinConnect Summary
The "Online Support 4 CHD Kids & Caregivers" trial is studying a virtual program called I-InTERACT-North, designed to help parents of children with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) improve their parenting skills and their child's behavior. This program is specifically for families with children aged 3 to 9 years old who are patients at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Ontario, Canada. The goal is to see if the program can make parenting easier and help children behave better, while also figuring out how well families accept and use this online support.
To participate, parents need to have a child who has a history of CHD and is between the ages of 3 and 9. However, children with serious medical issues requiring constant hospital care or those already in a similar parenting program won't be eligible. If you choose to take part, you’ll engage in activities designed to enhance your parenting skills and support your child's development. This study is currently recruiting participants, and the results will help shape future care practices for families dealing with CHD.
