ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how virtual reality and other technologies can help older adults stay physically active, mentally sharp, and socially connected as they age. Researchers want to learn about what older adults need and expect from these immersive activities, such as video games, and how different types of games might affect their preferences. The study aims to gather insights from 50 participants aged 50 and older, who will first fill out a questionnaire about their activity habits. They will then try out individual or multiplayer virtual reality games, discuss their experiences, and complete another questionnaire.
To participate, individuals must be 50 years old or older, but those with certain health issues—like serious physical or cognitive limitations, epilepsy risk, or those who are not able to live independently—are not eligible. Participants can expect a friendly and engaging environment where their feedback will help shape future technologies aimed at improving quality of life for older adults. If you or someone you know fits the age requirement and is interested in exploring how technology can support aging well, this trial might be a great opportunity!
