ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different eye drops, cyclopentolate 1% and tropicamide 1%, to see which one is better for measuring vision in children with a condition called esotropia, where one eye turns inward. The trial is for children aged 3 to 16 years who have specific eye color characteristics and are experiencing esotropia. Participants will visit the clinic twice, at least a week apart, over a three-month period to receive each type of eye drop.
If your child is eligible and joins the study, they will receive one type of eye drop during the first visit and the other type during the second visit. The goal is to find out which drop gives the most accurate results for measuring their vision. It’s important to note that some children may not be able to participate due to certain eye conditions or medical histories. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and both boys and girls can take part.
