ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial focuses on understanding Autoimmune Hepatitis (AIH), a chronic liver disease that causes ongoing inflammation and can lead to serious complications like liver failure. The goal of the study is to create a database that collects information about patients with AIH in Italy, including how common the disease is and how it progresses over time. Currently, there is no specific registry for AIH in the country, making it difficult to know how many people are affected and how the disease behaves.

If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with AIH and is at least 1 year old, you may be eligible to participate in this study. Participants will need to provide consent to join, and they will be asked to share information about their health and treatment. The study is currently looking for patients across multiple centers in Italy. Your involvement could help improve understanding of AIH and contribute to better care for future patients.
